Pray for God’s Blessing over the Poor in Pakistan

Multiple challenges hinder the country economically, including terrorism and addiction, resulting in about one third of its population living in poverty. A lack of governmental control has made it easier for Islamic terrorist groups to thrive, including the Taliban. Pakistan is the most heroin-addicted country in the world. Education is often poor, with literacy rates only at 58%. These are some of the reasons 35% of the people live in poverty. Jesus came to preach good news to the poor however, and blesses the poor in spirit to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Let’s pray that God uses Pakistan to display His mercy, grace and transformation all over the country. May this country receive the greatest blessing of the revelation of Jesus.
