Pray for Kashgar

Kashgar is a Uyghur city in the province of Xinjiang China. It has 500,000 people, and is very near the borders of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan. Kashgar has served as a trading post and strategically important city on the Silk Road between China, the Middle East and Europe for over 2,000 years, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the World. Kashgar is 85% Uyghur.

Pray that spiritual atmosphere of the city would change and open to the Spirit of God.

Pray that as God moves in this city it would be used as a gateway for the gospel to the surrounding nations of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan. Pray that the Uyghur people as they accept the gospel would see their importance in the plan of God to take the gospel to these other places.
