Pray for Courage for Iranian Believers

Today, we’re praying for courage!

There are many notorious prisons throughout the world. Iran has Evin Prison.

Evin made the news last month when a fire threatened the safety of its 15,000 inmates.

Officially 8 were killed.

Thousands of those protesting had been imprisoned there but Evin has also been where Christians have been imprisoned and have suffered for many years.

Let’s pray:

1. That believers would find strength to forgive their persecutors.

2. That persecutors would become Pauls for Jesus, turning from their hate, and instead would be servants and proclaimers of the Gospel of Christ.

3. All those imprisoned and facing imprisonment would be safe and have courage, and would find their hope in Jesus.

 

Some good news: since the fire at Evin, some Christians who had been imprisoned their because of their faith been released!
