Pray for Syria’s Future

The Syrian people have been through a lot. The chaos created by the complex and bloody war that has been raging for the last 12 years continues to be one of the world’s greatest humanitarian crises. There are countless Syrian children who have grown up spending their whole lives in refugee camps, knowing no other life than that of a refugee camp. Beyond that millions of other Syrians with the means to do so have fled the region to try to rebuild their lives in safer countries.

Syria’s history has been regularly marked with tragedy and destruction…

But its future doesn’t have to be. 

Our God is a God of transformation, of renewal, of restoration, and of salvation. 

Jesus can take any situation, no matter how bleak, and turn it into something beautiful. 

So, let’s pray for that to be the case in Syria. Let’s pray that Holy Spirit would transform the country, and that Syria’s future would be one of God’s Kingdom’s peace, hope, and prosperity reigning. Pray that that would be accompanied with millions being drawn to love and follow Jesus.
