Pray for the Syrian Church

Something that I find amazing and beautiful about Syria is that it was actually historically one of the first regions to receive the news of Jesus (Matthew 4:24). It’s a region that is talked about a number of times in the Bible: in the Old Testament, throughout the Gospels, and in the book of Acts. 

Even though Syria today is a Muslim majority country, there are still today Jesus followers throughout the country bearing witness to Christ. Some of them can even tracy their history all the way back to the New Testament church!

Pray with us today:

1. That God would breathe new life into the believers in the region, and that they’d shine bright in the darkness.
2. That God would grow His church in Syria, and that countless Syrian Muslims would be drawn to Him.
3. That, in the midst of persecution the love of Christ would shine bright from disciples of Jesus in Syria, and that that love would draw people to want to know Jesus.
