Prayer for the Maldives

Although nearly all Maldivians are Muslim, many have little understanding of the Quran, reciting it in Arabic without knowing its meaning. In their spiritual hunger, many turn to “fanditas”—local ritualists who use Islamic-sounding chants to promise healing, success, or protection. Pray that the Maldivian people would encounter Jesus, the true Bread of Life, who alone satisfies every spiritual hunger.
