Pray for Zanzibar

The beautiful Islands of Zanzibar are a part of the nation of Tanzania in the continent of Africa. Even though the mainland of Tanzania is majority Christian, the islands themselves are very unreached; the approximately 2 million people on these islands are 97 – 99% Muslim. The main economic industry is tourism, with many working small stands, at resorts or owning their own small business. There is little work on the islands and income is quite low even for those with full-time employment.

Please pray for…

• The over 2 million people on these islands. Many of them are without work and looking for ways to feed their families.
• The light of Jesus to reach those in search of Truth.
