Pray for Abdullah

Abdullah’s hometown is Kashgar, he works as a chef. Abdullah first heard about Christianity from a classmate while in high school in Kashgar. His classmate was from a Uyghur Christian family, which held secret weekly gatherings in their homes. The first time Abdullah attended this gathering an old woman called him to her and said, “Hold the book in my hand and read it, my child.” It was the Gospel of John: “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God” he read, and his whole body trembled, not from fear, but from comfort. That moment he decided to follow Jesus.

Pray that Abdullah and the underground church in Kashgar would be filled with boldness to share the gospel.

Pray that others would have their eyes opened to Jesus as quickly as Abdullah.

Pray for the multiplication of the miraculous in the church in Kashgar.
