Pray for those affected by the Feb. 6th Earthquakes

There is talk of completely walking away from entire cities that have been affected by these earthquakes. At least 6,444 buildings have collapsed since the first quake on February 6th. Many thousands of more buildings have incurred damage that is beyond repair. Can you imagine waking up one morning, feeling so lucky just to be alive as you escaped the earthquake, only to realize in the coming weeks that you have nothing left. Your home is worthless, your place of employment has fallen in, your church is gone, all your neighbors have fled, and you have literally nothing left. Even more shocking would be the revelation that it isn’t going to be rebuilt.

• Can you pray that the suffering of the millions of people whose lives resemble this picture would be engulfed by the comfort of the Holy Spirit, that he would draw them to himself, that his hope would somehow shine through this time of utter darkness.
